“me (and) you - what we were and what was ”
the concept of this work is built around four words that convey a story of love and devotion between two people. the words 'i' and 'you' are positioned in the upper circle, and the words 'were' and 'was' in the lower circle.
this overlap between the two circles reflects the complete story: meeting and moving away, longing and emptiness after loss. The four words intertwine to form a visual narrative of a relationship that ended long ago, evoking emotional memories and past passions. the overall scene leaves a profound sense of nostalgia and emptiness, as if the painting itself preserves the lost echo of those moments.
تنبني فكرة هذه اللوحة أربع مفردات تحمل قصة حب وتفاني بين شخصين، حيث تتموضع كلمتا 'أنا' و'أنت' في الدائرة العلوية، وكلمتا 'كنا' و'وكان' في الدائرة السفلية. هذا التداخل بين الدائرتين يعكس الحكاية الكاملة، التلاقي والابتعاد، الحنين والفراغ بعد الفقدان. الكلمات الأربع تتشابك لتشكل سردًا بصريًا لعلاقة انتهت منذ زمن، لتحاكي الذكريات العاطفية والعشق الذي مضى، بينما يترك المشهد العام شعورًا عميقًا بالحنين والفراغ، وكأن اللوحة نفسها تحفظ الصدى الغائب لتلك اللحظات
